Harrisonville Culver's wins national competition

The Harrisonville Culver's restaurant was named the winner of the 2023 Culver’s Crew Challenge contest, in which Culver’s restaurants compete in the areas of quality, service, cleanliness, hospitality, community outreach and team member training and development.

Area boys wrestlers lock up state tourney spots

NEVADA — Of the nine area girls wrestlers who qualified for next week’s state tournament, six of them will be making their first trip to compete against the best Class 1 competitors in Missouri.
ARCHIE — Friday’s girls basketball game between Cass County opponents was all but over by halftime.
ARCHIE — It took the better part of the first half for the Harrisonville boys basketball team to figure out how to attack the Whirlwinds’ zone defense, and once it did, it ran away with Friday’s game against a home squad that was missing two starters after the first quarter.
The final tune up before this weekend’s district tournament in Nevada went well for the Harrisonville girls wrestling team.
