Drivers should be aware of pavement repair work beginning tonight and going through Wednesday night in Harrisonville.
MoDOT has announced that road crews will be performing work on Commercial Street on the south end of town and the ramp from Commercial Street to southbound I-49 in Harrisonville.
The work will go from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Crews will have a flagging operation on Commercial Street over I-49, but this work will not be a complete closure, however, motorists m ay experience delays.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
