Beginning today, MoDOT crews will start working to make improvements at the intersection of 291 Highway and 58 Highway (Hubach Hill Road) between Raymore and Pleasant Hill.

Crews will close the intersection for approximately three months. It will be a complete closure for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection.

Motorists will need to find an alternative route. The following signed detour routes will be in place during construction:

  • Motorists traveling on southbound 291 Highway to I-49 are encouraged to follow the detour on 150 Highway.
  • Motorists traveling on northbound I-49 to northbound 291 Highway are encouraged to follow the detour on 150 Highway.
  • Motorists traveling on southbound 291 Highway to eastbound 58 Highway are encouraged to follow the detour of 150 Highway to 7 Highway.
  • Motorists traveling on westbound 58 Highway to southbound 291 Highway are encouraged to follow detour of 7 Highway to State Route P.
  • Motorists traveling on northbound 291 Highway to eastbound 58 Highway are encouraged to follow detour of State Route P to 7 Highway.
  • Motorists traveling on eastbound 58 Highway are encouraged to follow detour of 291 Highway to 150 Highway to 7 Highway.
  • Motorists traveling on westbound 58 Highway are encouraged to follow detour of 7 Highway to 150 Highway to 291 Highway.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
