The annual Harrisonville spring cleanup event is set for Saturday.
The city will once again be using the GFL/WCA facility, located at 22820 291 Highway as the event host. The gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
There have been a few changes made to this year’s event. GFL will no longer be accepting electronic waste, bulk construction debris or appliances containing freon. If someone is trying to get rid of an item that used to contain freon, it will need a “freon free” sticker on it to be accepted.
