PLEASANT HILL — Mayor John King dropped a bombshell announcement near the end of the Monday’s city council meeting.
Following the staff reports portion of the meeting, King told the council he accepted City Administrator Shelby Teufel’s resignation on Aug. 18. Teufel will step down Sept. 17.
