Karen Renee Hagerman
April 2, 1942 – January 23, 2023
Mrs. Karen Renee Hagerman, 81, New Bloomfield, passed away January 23, 2024, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital Jefferson City. She was born Thursday, April 2, 1942, in Mt. Sterling, IL., a daughter of the late Clifford Agans and Loretta I. Morrell. Karen was united in marriage on June 8, 1957, to the late Thomas Preston Cumpton. She was later united in marriage on August 8, 1980, to the late Brady Edward Hagerman.
Karen was a licensed Cosmetologist for many years.
She is survived by her children, Clay (Louann) Cumpton, Urich, Cole Cumpton, Creighton, Curtis (Cindy) Cumpton, Urich, Cliff Cumpton, Barnett, Brian Hagerman, Loretto, TN, Brent Hagerman, Loretto, TN, Angela (Bob) Taylor, Mission, KS., Amy Hagerman, Lakewood, CO; brothers, Ronald (Nancy) Agans, Garden City, David (Wilda) Agans, Meredosia, IL; sister, Shirley Wilhite, New Bloomfield; sister in-law, Mary Agans, Jefferson City; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mr. Cumpton and Mr. Hagerman, she was preceded in death by one son, Clint Cumpton; two grandsons, Tony Cumpton and Caleb Cumpton; and two brothers, Richard Agans and Clifford Agans.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Dayton Cemetery.
