Kansas City woman arrested after I-49 pursuit

A 26-year-old Kansas City woman is in the Cass County Jail after being charged with a class D felony of aggravated fleeing a stop or detention.

On Tuesday, Cass County Sheriff’s deputies were alerted of a vehicle pursuit involving the Missouri Highway Patrol heading southbound on I-49 near Peculiar. Deputies joined the pursuit in Harrisonville as it continued and eventually went northbound to Belton.

Deputies there assisted MSHP in taking the subject into custody near Oakland Avenue and 165th Street. Arrested was Tiffany McCurdy. She is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
