Three juveniles were taken into custody this morning following a pursuit with Cass County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
All three were taken to area hospitals for precautionary reasons, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Their identities will not be released.
Just after 5:15 a.m., a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle, near the area of I-49 and 291 Highway, which was reported stolen to the Harrisonville Police Department. A pursuit ensued after the driver allegedly failed to yield to the deputy.
The pursuit ended in a single-vehicle crash near Peculiar Way. Two suspects were taken into custody, and the third was arrested after fleeing on foot.
