CASS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting several overnight road closures for pavement work on I-49 next week.
Crews will be conducting lane closures from May 6 and 7 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on southbound I-49 at mile marker 164.6 south of State Route C and at mile marker 162.4 south of Overpass Road.
Additionally, crews will be conducting lane closures from May 7 to 9 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on northbound and southbound I-49 at State Route B and mile marker 148.2.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
