On Thursday, Cass County Sheriff’s Office deputies with the Criminal Apprehension Unit grappled a vehicle just north of 58 Highway and arrested 21-year-old Rogerick Redmond of Grandview.
Just before 10:30 p.m., deputies were alerted about a pursuit involving the Missouri State Highway Patrol which had entered Cass County. Deputies intercepted the pursuit as it continued southbound on I-49.
The pursuit later headed northbound and deputies successfully grappled the suspect’s vehicle north of 58 Highway.
Redmond had previous warrants from Belton, Grandview and Kansas City, and is currently being held at the Cass County Jail. Charges from this incident are pending.
