A Garden City was arrested early Wednesday morning and remains in jail facing multiple charges.
Jacob Ott, 31, is in the Cass County Jail with no bond following his arrest.
Shortly after midnight Wednesday, Cass County Sheriff Deputies conducted a vehicle stop for expired license plates in rural Harrisonville. The stop resulted in the arrest of Ott. Deputies also seized drugs, a firearm and a knife.
Dispatch also confirmed Ott had a warrant out of Jackson County, Kansas, for failure to appear in court for an amphetamine charge. He has since been charged for being a fugitive from out of state.
From the arrest, Ott has been charged with three felonies – unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
Ott is due in court at 9 a.m. Oct. 9.
