We’ve seen curiosity online about some work being done to a building in south Harrisonville, so we looked into it and here’s what we found.
The building at 1101 S. Commercial has been getting a facelift recently as it is prepared to reopen as a Mexican restaurant.
The facility was originally a Dairy Queen and through the years has also been used for other fast-food establishments, most recently as Peniku Japanese before that business moved to a larger facility at 2202 S. Commercial.
Workers at the restaurant said the plan was for the new eatery to open in a few weeks. The name has not been announced.
