ARCHIE — The haunt will go on, at least for this year.
In a hearing Friday morning the Cass County Commission meeting as the board of zoning adjustment held a hearing concerning the Dorsett Hill Haunted House.
After about 30 minutes of comments from supporters and detractors, the board voted to postpone a decision until members had time to consider the evidence presented.
There has been controversy surrounding the haunted house located at 34813 S. Dorsett Hill Rd. because of neighbor complaints and zoning violations. The owners had been issued a cease-and-desist letter.
Because no decision was made the house will be open tonight and tomorrow as scheduled.
The commission will announce when they are ready to make a decision in the future.
