Our Mother’s soul burst through the Earth’s door as it opened on her way to heaven in the early morning hours of April 16, 2025. However, not without the gift of her precious light sprinkled about which will continue to shine through her daughters, Cheryl, Kelly and Stacy, her son Monte, her sons-in- law, Bob and Johnny, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as many other family and friends. Mom never met a stranger.

Mom’s goal in life was to have children. And that she did. Cheryl and Mike were first followed by Kelly, Monte and Stacy. We all felt her love and the warmth of her light. Most children think their Mom is all there is, but as they grow into teenagers it all changes. I am proud to say as we be- came adults, once again---change. We all thought she was the TOP. She was our rock. She had the biggest shoulders to share our troubles and our successes. She was the BEST listener a child or adult could have.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Vertie Sallee, a brother Kenneth, her husband Dennis, a son Mike and a granddaughter Hailey.

The family would like to thank CMH Citizen Hospice, especially Casey, whose tender care and genuine concern for our Mom gave us such comfort.

A celebration of life will be held June 28, 2025 in Butler, MO at the city park from 2:00pm till 4:00pm. Join us for a celebration of all things Donna Jeane.
