Danny A. Cain

Danny Arthur Cain of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born July 29, 1950, in Cainsville, Missouri, the son of Fred Arthur and Nellie Mae (Johnson) Cain. He departed this life on Friday, August 2, 2024, with Hospice by his side at Golden Years for Rehab and Healthcare, Harrisonville, Missouri, at the age of 74 years.
On August 9, 1974, Danny was united in marriage to Sharon Lee LaRue.
Danny was employed with multiple positions in the warehouse at the John Deere, Co. in Kansas City, Missouri, for 30 years until he retired in 2003. He was a 1968 graduate of Cainsville High School where he participated in two class plays, played basketball and baseball for three years, ran track, was a member of the FFA, a class officer for four years, was on the annual staff and Homecoming King. In his youth, during the summer, he worked in the hay fields and at MFA in Cainsville. Danny had moved to Harrisonville in 1974.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold; a sister, Judith Weathers; and a sister in law, June Cain.
Danny is survived by his wife, Sharon Cain, of the home; two daughters, Regina Cain Tatum (Bill) and Shelly Cain Lacy (Aaron); three grandsons, who were his pride and joy, Michael Kuffel, Kadin and Coby Lacy; other relatives and a host of friends.
