To many people in the Pleasant Hill area, the Dr. Fred L. Seevers Memorial Bridge, or better known as the “green bridge,” has become a symbol of community.
Regardless of the sentimental value, the bridge has deteriorated to the point that it needs to be removed, according to MoDOT officials.
