Old hospital demolition planned for January

Crews work to remove trees around the former Cass Medical Center building on East Mechanic Street in Harrisonville. The old hospital building will soon be torn down, making way for an apartment complex and senior living housing development.
Earlier this month, contractors removed the trees in front of the old Cass County Medical Center at 1800 E. Mechanic Street as one of the latest steps in developing the site into hundreds of apartments and dozens of senior living units.
