The Peculiar Police Department, with assistance from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team, executed a search warrant this afternoon in the 200 block of Shari Drive.
Peculiar PD requested assistance with arresting an individual who was armed and involved in an earlier shooting, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect, who has yet to be named, was apprehended without incident.
Peculiar PD Police Chief Don Shepard was unavailable to comment on the situation, which is still under investigation.
