Jordan M. Zenor-Overcast
March 24, 2008 – May 11, 2022

Jordan Marie Zenor-Overcast, Harrisonville, was born March 24, 2008, in Kansas City, the daughter of Misty Marie
Overcast and Jason Edwards Zenor. She died May 11 at Belton Regional Medical Center, Belton, surrounded by
love and family at the age of 14 years, 1 month and 17 days.

Jordan was a seventh-grade student at Harrisonville Middle School and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville.

She was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer on Feb. 2, 2010 at the age of 23. After a long grueling brain surgery of eight hours, doctors told the family she would not survive past the age of 5 years. She endured long extensive treatment and hospital stays and surgeries including radiation and chemotherapy which each time took a little more away from her.

Jordan surpassed the doctors prediction of 5 years and fought with everything she had.

Her motto was “fight like a girl.” Once again we were given the news in 2015 that after her seventh birthday, two more tumors were at the center of her brain. Once again in May 2015, Jordan had a long grueling surgery to try to remove as much of the tumor as possible.

After the surgery they would start radiation again. Radiation and chemotherapy unfortunately left a lot of residual damage to Jordan’s sweet precious body, including her lungs and that would ultimately rear its ugly head. After long stays in the hospital the past two years with a mysterious disease plaguing her lungs, Jordan had a grand mal seizure and died.

Jordan was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Mary “Mae” Ring and her maternal great-grandfather, Allen J. Ring.

Jordan is survived by her loving mother, Misty Overcast and fiancé, Bill Lindberg, and loving big brother, Kenneth Overcast, all of the home; her father, Jason E. Zenor, and a step-brother, Lance Manker, both of the state of Kansas; her maternal grandmother and caretaker, Madonna M. Overcast, Harrisonville; her maternal grandfather, Henry Dale Overcast, Ocie; her maternal step-great-grandmother, Janice Ring, Garden City; her paternal grandfather, Fred Zenor, state of Kansas; many beautiful aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and “Hope For Jordan” warriors around the world.

There are so many people to thank for being on Jordan’s journey with us all, 12 years of dedicated warriors; Harrisonville
